Bláthnaid Daly is an actor and writer from Westmeath. In 2021, she graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting. She has a particular passion for both creating and performing work through Irish as well as bilingual work. She also loves singing, playing guitar and piano. She recently made her directorial debut, co-directing RESURRECTION, alongside its writer, Ronan Woods, which premiered in Smock Alley Theatre in April 2023.

Bláthnaid also performs stand up comedy and has recently featured in online comedy sketches with Newscheck Comedy. Bláthnaid also frequently works as a voiceover artist, dubbing cartoons in the Irish language.

In 2021, she received an Agility Award from The Arts Council to develop her one woman, bilingual English/Irish comedy CONNEMARVELLOUS. She debuted an excerpt from it in February 2022, as part of Scene and Heard festival.

Bláthnaid is currently on a national tour with Enchanted Croí Theatre Company in their production of IN THE MIDST OF PLENTY.
