As the first actors’ co-operative in Ireland it was with a sense of adventure and anticipation that the original sixteen members set about promoting each other’s careers. Twenty five years later, those founding members can look back with pride as we are now a firmly established agency run solely by professional actors, and one of the premier actor agencies in Ireland.

Castaway deals daily with casting directors in all areas of entertainment across Ireland and the UK and is widely recognised as one of the most reputable agencies operating in Ireland today.

Structured on a co-operative basis, and established in 1988, every member plays an integral part in the running of all aspects of the agency.

Now in its third decade, Castaway continues to develop, thanks to the talent, initiative and commitment of its members. With a book currently at 28 clients, this gives us many years of collective experience in film, radio, television and theatre. We are also widely experienced in voice-overs, role-play and forum theatre.
