Ava Hahessy Madigan is a writer and actor from County Kilkenny, currently based in Dublin & London. She was most recently seen in PRAWN COCKTAIL a part of the Scene & Heard Festival, directed by Rosa Thomas. She was also seen in CASH POINT MEET a part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2021.

She starred in THE KEY directed by Danielle McCormick, which went on to compete in festivals throughout Ireland and America. She also played the lead character of Niamh in the Irish short film ‘BROKEN SILENCE.

She is a graduate from the Gaiety School of Acting, class of 2021, completing the Two Year Professional Actor Training Programme.

She was seen as the character Rogue in her graduation play ROGUE, written by Lee Coffey and directed by Tracy Ryan in Smock Alley Theatre. During her time in the Gaiety School of Acting she also worked with Megan K.Fox performing in the short film TWO OH FIVE and worked on FINNEGANS WAKE, a radio play directed by Roger Gregg, playing various characters through voice work.

Prior to this, she complete the Foundation Diploma in Acting and Theatre studies in the Lir Academy, Dublin.
