Eoghan Burke (AKA Fia Rua) began his performing career as a singer/songwriter and ballad singer releasing four acclaimed albums and touring extensively in Ireland and Europe. He stepped into the acting world in 2010 and has since been performing in both disciplines.
His musical background was evident in his most recent performances of IN THE MIDST OF PLENTY (a new folk musical set during the Irish famine), PLAYBOY OF THE WESTERN WORLD - THE MUSICAL (a rock n roll version of JM Synge's classic), and SEVEN DRUNKEN NIGHTS - THE STORY OF THE DUBLINERS which is currently touring extensively around the world.
Eoghan is also a prolific writer/performer. His play FROM THE PLAINS - THE STORY OF JOHN DEVOY was commissioned to be performed in New York for the St Patricks Day Festival 2019.
Eoghan is also a podcast presenter (KILDARE SPEAKS), does live and online storytelling, and is a unique voice artist.
