Bláthnaid Daly is an actor and writer from Co.Westmeath. In 2021, she graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting. She has a particular passion for both creating and performing work through Irish as well as bilingual work. She also loves singing, playing guitar and piano.

She also performs stand up comedy and has recently featured in online comedy sketches with NEWSCHECK COMEDY.

Bláthnaid frequently works as a voiceover artist, dubbing cartoons in the Irish language with Macalla Teoranta, which are shown on TG4.

In 2021, she received an Agility Award from The Arts Council to develop her one woman, bilingual English/Irish comedy CONNEMARVELLOUS. She debuted an excerpt from it in February 2022, as part of Scene and Heard festival. 

Other recent theatre credits include HEARTSTRING (Scatterdream Theatre Company), AN TRIAIL (Fíbín), FIONN AGUS AN BRADÁN FEASA (Fíbín), PRAWN COCKTAIL (Colour & Ducks Theatre Company), IN THE MIDST OF PLENTY (Enchanted Croí Theatre) and SPACE DELI THE MUSICAL (Pay Attention! Collective)

Screen credits include THE WAKE (Megan K. Fox Films) and HOMOFÓNIA (Alana Daly Mulligan and Luke Murphy) which recently won best Irish Language Short Film at the Fastnet Film Festival.

Bláthnaid will be performing in the Southwark Playhouse in London in August with National Youth Music Theatre on their production of CATASTROPHE BAY.
