Biog

Guy Carleton is an actor in his early sixties and a founder member of Castaway. He has a distinguished English accent. He usually only attempts Irish accents as a joke. He trained in the Stanislavsky-based Focus theatre and performed many shows there. Recent work includes The Tudors, where he played the kings’ Chamberlain in all 4 series.
He now lives in Westport and works as a gardener and meditation instructor at the Cloona Health Centre when he’s not acting. He has a lot of experience working with children, particularly as Guido de Clown.  He usually does voluntary work with children in Kenya every year.
His one man show on the life and works of Lewis Carroll – Contrariwise is being polished up for a rerun.
