Biog

Brendan’s favourite Theatre performances include Joxer Daly in Juno and The Paycock at the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow; Brownie/Shaggy in Borstal Boy at the Gaiety Theatre; Touchstone in As You Like It and Montague/Apothecary in Romeo and Juliet both for Second Age; Jenkinson in She Stoops to Folly at the Abbey Theatre; Sgt. Tinley/Tommy in Plough and the Stars at the West End Garrick Theatre and UK Tour, Billy in Goodbye to the Hill at the Neptune Theatre Liverpool and Irish tour.
TV and Film–wise he was delighted to get to work with Julianne Moore on Laws of Attraction and Emily Watson on Angela’s Ashes as well as Colm Meaney on How Harry Became a Tree.  He has also been seen in several regular TV series going all the way back to Brookside (Channel 4), Ballykissangel (ITV), and not so far back Fair City (RTE).  He insists his most interesting character, however, was playing violent Boston gangster Whitey Bolger for TG4’s Mobs Mheiricea.
