Biog

Born in Co Louth, Ireland, Anthony is a graduate of the Central School of Speech and Drama, London.

Anthony also trained a year part time with the Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin; 2 years full time with the Bull Alley Theatre Training Company, Dublin; and he has completed the Acting for Film & TV Level 2 Course in Filmbase, Dublin.

Anthony has been fortunate enough to have gained some notable credits over the last few years – such as: Phil Rogers in Red Rock; French Sentry in season 3 of Vikings; Paul in the feature North Circular Road; Dan in the short A Hollow Friend; Zangara in Rough Magic SEEDS Assassins; Peter Dunne’s DIY Play at Smock Alley Theatre; Timmie in Gerard Humphreys’ Friendly Fire; Male Chorus in Polish Theatre Ireland’s Foreign Bodies; Pig in Enda Walsh’s Disco Pigs; Stephen in Frank McGuinness’ The Bird Sanctuary; Joe in Conor McPherson’s This Lime Tree Bower; the Boy Racer in No Nonsense.ie commercials on TV & radio; Complaining Guy in MyTaxi’s 2017 Radio campaign & reccurring character presenter Seánín Milseán in The Beo Show for RTEjr

Anthony co-created & appeared in Cracks with Quintessence Theatre Company at An Táin Arts Centre, Dundalk.  Cracks is about a character dealing with mental health issues, the stigma they face & the failures in the system.  Cracks will be touring throughout 2017/2018.

Also with Quintessence Theatre Company, Anthony has just completed The Wind & the Willows (as Mr Toad) & Dracula (an adaptation in celebration of the 120th anniversary of it’s publication) , which ran at An Táin Arts Centre, Dundalk, at the end of April 2017.  It also transferred to the Droichead Arts Centre and it’s Sold Out performance was one of the headline events of the Droichead Arts Festival 2017.
Anthony is currently in rehearsals for Romeo & Juliet with Quintessence Theatre Company, 27th-30th Nov in An Tain Arts Centre.
As producer with Quintessence, Anthony is very excited that Quintessence is An Táin Arts Centre’s Company-in-Residence for 2018 and have a fantastic programme lined up.

 

Anthony has worked extensively as a corporate role-player also, having recently been involved with Catastrophe Theatre Company’s murder-mystery dinner theatre show Midsummer Night’s Murder.

Anthony also works as an actor-singer, writer, director, puppeteer, acting teacher & theatre practitioner.  Anthony is passionate about his work and he maintains a high-level of professionalism at all times.
