Biog

Joanne is originally from Tipperary and came to Dublin after training extensively in both Queen,s University, Belfast and University College, Cork. She is a highly skilled physical theatre performer and has a very strong command of the Irish language.

She is co-founder of Inkling Theatre Company and starred in their debut play ‘If I Told You…’ earlier this year. She has worked on several educational theatre plays with TEAM Educational Theatre Company and is currently working with them on The Real Deal where she plays a 16 year old girl struggling in her relationship with her boyfriend.

She most recently appeared in the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade as a dancer with City Fusion and Coisceim. Theatre credits include If I Told You… (Inkling), Half a Person (Penny Productions), From Xenophobia to Amazement(Wondrous Stories, Amsterdam) The Real Deal, Doughnuts and Light Signals (TEAM), The Vagina Monologues(Charity Event), Iphegenia in Aulis (Classic Stage Ireland), How Tom Beat Captain Najork and his Hired Sportsmen and We Are Not Afraid (Curious Doings), The Pied Piper, (Source Arts Centre), The Public (Foregrounds, UCC),Shakers (Dramat, UCC)

She is a strong alto singer having starred in musicals and pantomimes as a teenager. Joanne has trained in Clowning, Movement, Mime and Yoga and she holds a Full Clean Driving Licence, is a fully trained Lifeguard and Drama Facilitator.

Joanne has a native North Tipperary accent but can change easily from Irish to American and generally has a good ear for all accents
